Those of you who looked closely at the images in our introductory blog post may have noticed some intriguing details in the 3D renderings. Today, we’re highlighting one particular feature we’re excited to include in the new Avalokiteshvara Hall: the donor wall!
Located in the middle of the temple, this wall will be a beautiful display of names that expresses our gratitude for each donor who will have helped bring the new temple space to life. Our hope in placing this donor wall in the first new temple of the reconstruction project is for it to honor the donors supporting us as we progress through the next phases of our reconstruction plans.
Our donors are an important part of the Mahayana Temple community because without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Their generosity allows us to maintain the retreat and continuously improve the guest experience, curating a space where we can facilitate religious practice, education on Buddhism, and more.
We’re looking forward to seeing the new Avalokiteshvara Hall take shape, and we’re grateful for all the support that makes it possible. Stay tuned for future blog posts, where we will be revealing more sneak peeks of brand new features coming to the temple grounds!
We would like to extend our gratitude to those who have previously donated. For those who feel moved to make a new contribution towards our reconstruction efforts, we invite you to use the linked PayPal and Venmo accounts.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. May the merits of your support bring blessings.
