On this day, it is the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva, who was born as a human being, becoming the third princess of the Xinglin Kingdom兴林国, Princess Miaoshan妙善. She had two older sisters; the eldest princess was named Miaojin妙金, and the second princess was named Miaoyin妙银 (or Miao Yin according to some sources), and the third princess was named Miaoshan妙善.
